And this is why I will not vote for John McCain or any GOP republican. McCain commented that another terrorist attack would help him get elected. You have got to be kidding, is that the only way a GOP republican get get elected? Through fear and terror or through fear of losing your bible? To even play at the notion that we need an attack which will kill normal average citizens JUST to get elected... tisk tisk.

This makes me sick to call myself a republican. This is why I had to change my alignment to a Ron Paul republican. I support and protect the constitution which is more than I can say for the current congress with the passage of the FISA bill. If Barack Obama or Christopher Dodd goes in front of the Senate and does a filibuster I will support them throughout their careers. This is your chance to impress me.

George Carlin and Tim Russert each passed away within a month of each other. I am certainly bummed to see these two great people go. I was entertained by both. I looked up to Tim Russert. I have laughed at many a joke from George Carlin.

Tim was a special guy. He talked to presidents and world leaders. He asked the questions the common American wanted. He was a journalist all journalists should be. I watched many a "Meet the Press" on a Sunday morning and I will miss his humor and whit on election night.

George Carlin died yesterday. He had his share of heart issues, and I am sad I will not get to hear another joke from him. I own many of George's book and all of his CDs. I have seen him in person 4 times in my life. Sure he was vulgar, sure many say he was tasteless, but he thought differently then all of us and made us see the dumb side of society.

With all of the problems we have been having, why can't we bring the money and people back home? I mean we built one of the greatest infrastructures on the planet. It is funny that we have not donated to our own homestead since well forever.
